Hindu Mahasabha Chief praises Zaira Wasim, urges Hindu actresses to take inspiration

Date:

Mumbai — The national president of Hindu Mahasabha Swamy Chakrapani urged Bollywood’s Hindu actresses to take inspiration from Zaira Wasim who left the film industry for the sake of her Islamic faith.

Swamy Chakrapani tweeted on Monday that, “Hindu actresses should also take inspiration from Zaira. Her Zaira Wasim decision to quit acting is praiseworthy.”

The 18-year-old superstar Wasim who starred in superhit movies like Dangal and Secret Superstar declared on Sunday about her disassociation from the Bollywood industry as she felt loss of Barakah (blessings) in her life, and her Islamic faith was getting threatened.

There were rumors on Monday that Wasim’s social media accounts were hacked, however, Wasim rubbished the claims through her Facebook post.

Wasim has received mixed reaction on her Sunday’s Facebook post with Bollywood celebrities divided into two camps, one respecting her decision while others taking a dig at her personal choice.
