The Hague (Reuters) – The Dutch Foreign Ministry on Wednesday advised against all non-essential travel to Iran amid rising tensions in the region and Iranian missile attacks against U.S. bases in neighboring Iraq.
“Travel to Iran only if it is essential. Rising tensions mean the security situation is unpredictable,” the ministry said on its website.
The Dutch umbrella organization of travel agents ANVR told Dutch ANP news agency that all planned package trips to Iran would be canceled.
