KSrelief Thousands of food baskets are delivered to needy families during Ramadan


Riyadh – In Niger, Somalia, Bangladesh, and Albania, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) donated Ramadan food packages.
In Niger this week, more than 29 tonnes of food aid were dispersed.
And As a part of a programme by the centre to distribute 2,000 food packages across 34 Albanian regions in order to achieve food security, an additional 4,120 kilogrammes of food packages were provided in Albania.
The centre distributed 600 food packages to 600 households in Somalia who were suffering from the drought.
The assistance is a component of Somalia’s third phase programme to offer those affected by the drought life-saving initiatives in food security. 4,620 tonnes of aid have already been given to drought-affected people.
