Saudi assistance director talks to El Salvador’s FM about humanitarian issues

Riyadh – Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, the Adviser at the Saudi Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, held a meeting with Alexandra Hill Tinoco, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of El Salvador, at the ministry’s headquarters in San Salvador. The meeting, which took place recently, focused on various matters of mutual interest in the field of humanitarian and relief affairs, as well as avenues for their development.

During the meeting, both sides engaged in constructive discussions concerning humanitarian issues and explored potential areas for collaboration. Hill Tinoco expressed her appreciation for the commendable work conducted by KSrelief in its efforts to provide assistance to countries and individuals in need across the globe. The meeting served as an opportunity to highlight the vital role played by KSrelief in extending humanitarian aid and relief to those affected by crises and disasters worldwide.

Haytham bin Hassan Al-Malki, the Saudi Ambassador to Mexico and non-resident Ambassador to El Salvador, also participated in the meeting, further strengthening the ties between the two nations. The Saudi aid center, KSrelief, remains steadfast in its commitment to assisting communities in need across the world. Recently, KSrelief signed three agreements, as reported by the state news agency SPA, to initiate new projects in Yemen.

One of these projects includes the operation of the Prosthetic Limbs and Rehabilitation Center in Aden, which is expected to benefit over 3,500 individuals. This initiative aims to provide vital support and rehabilitation services to those who have suffered limb amputations or disabilities due to conflicts and crises. By offering access to advanced prosthetic limbs and comprehensive rehabilitation programs, the center will contribute to enhancing the quality of life and restoring mobility for those in need.

The meeting between Abdullah Al-Rabeeah and Alexandra Hill Tinoco reflects the shared commitment of Saudi Arabia and El Salvador to humanitarian causes and their dedication to fostering collaboration in the field of relief and assistance.
