Taif Rose Fragrance: A Precious Perfume Rooted in Heritage and Craftsmanship

Taif – Taif roses are celebrated worldwide for their unique and exquisite aroma, making them one of the most precious natural perfume products.

The process of obtaining Taif rose oil is exceptionally labor-intensive and requires great skill. Around 12,000 freshly picked roses are needed to produce just one tola of this prized oil.

Harvesting is done manually at dawn when the petals contain the most concentrated fragrance. This careful picking ensures the aroma remains pure and potent for the distillation process.

Distillation of the roses takes place within 24 hours of harvesting to preserve the delicate scent. This rapid processing is critical to maintaining the quality and uniqueness of the final perfume product.

The yield from the entire harvest produces approximately 20,000 tolas of Taif rose oil annually. This limited quantity contributes to the oil’s exclusivity and high value in the fragrance market.
