Riyadh — Major General Khaled Al-Mraeed, a distinguished retired military officer and former commander of the Saudi Arabian National Guard, has launched his new book titled ‘Life’s Journey to Serve the Nation’ in Arabic language, which is recently published by Jadawel Publishing House in Beirut.

In his book, Major Al-Mraeed shares his experiences and insights gained over his long and illustrious career in the military. He documented his upbringing and education in the Saudi north, when his family moved from Riyadh to the northern border, where he grew up, in national tasks at the beginning of administrative development in Saudi Arabia. He also talks about the challenges he faced, the lessons he learned, and the sacrifices he made in order to serve his country.

The book also documented important events in the history of the Saudi military, especially the Ministry of the National Guard, to which the author affiliated early and spent his military life in it, dealing with a number of national roles and military missions carried out by the National Guard in the service of the Saudi state, which makes the book a document in Saudi military history.

Major Al-Mraeed’s book is a testament to the bravery and dedication of Saudi military and its leaders.

The book contained 296 pages, which is a valuable addition to the Arab library and increases its balance, especially in the military aspect and its history.

The book is expected to inspire a new generation of young Saudis to serve their country with dedication and commitment, and to uphold the values that are at the core of the nation’s identity.

As we celebrate the founding day, we are proud of Saudi glories, nobility, solidity and an honorable history.

The celebration of the founding day – which falls on February 22, 2022 – comes after the issuance of a generous royal order to be a national occasion to cherish the solid roots of the Saudi state. This honorable royal order has been applauded, supported and admired by all sections of the Saudi people.

When the Saudis remember the founding day, they feel a sense of pride and a sense of nobility of the Saudi nation and its roots that span more than three centuries, which are deeply rooted in history.

During its three phases. They sense the strengths in their great Saudi state, preserve it and cherish it, because it is the source of strength, steadfastness, glory and honor throughout history.

The things Saudis cherish are:

1- The presence of the firm, loyal, just and wise leadership (which is among them and for them) represented by the honorable family of Al Saud, starting from the founder of the first Saudi state, Imam Muhammad bin Saud (1139-1233 / 1727-1818) until the current rational leadership represented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

2- The existence of a method and reference for the state represented by the Qur’an, the Sunnah, and the correct, moderate Islamic faith.

3- The Saudi people’s support for their leadership and their deep conviction in them, history proves with the strength of the mutual cohesion between the leadership and the people and their belief in the state that guarantees security, unity and prosperity.

4- The ability to withstand challenges, adapt to circumstances, and be able to mobilize energies and reform for further development, growth and prosperity to ensure continuity and excellence.

Therefore, the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on its founding day, and when they look at their honorable history, feel a real sense of pride in the strength of their state and that it is resistant to invaders and aggressors.

This glorious memory makes our heroic history a beacon to guide us, follow the path of our ancestors, and be inspired by their heroism by preserving the elements of national strength and working towards the elevation and pride of this Saudi nation, strengthening cohesion with our leadership and consolidating patriotism and citizenship.

In conclusion, I say: As we celebrate the founding day, we are proud of Saudi glories, nobility, solidity and an honorable history, and we are also proud and proud that we, as Saudis, are living the best and great days of the Saudi state at the present time during the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his faithful crown prince. May God protect the homeland from the plots of the plotters.
