Pak PM Imran Khan to receive highest civilian award from Bahraini Govt.

Manama – Bahraini government will confer highest civil award known as “King Hamad Order of Renaissance” upon Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan during his upcoming visit to the Kingdom, a senior Pakistani official confirmed on Thursday.

Special Assistant to PM for Overseas Pakistanis Sayed Zulfikar Bukhari told, “Prime Minister is going on an official visit to Bahrain in the mid of December where he will be conferred Bahrain’s highest civilian award”, according to Arab News source.

Khan is expected to leave for a three-country tour on December 15 with the first country as Bahrain, then Switzerland and finally Malaysia.

Khan will meet Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, while taking part in Bahrain’s national day celebrations on December 16.

It is reported that earlier this year, the National Guard of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Lt. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa Al-Khalifa laid a formal invitation to Khan to visit Bahrain.
