Indian heatwaves likely in May, particularly in east, weather office says

Mumbai (Reuters) – India will probably experience heatwaves in May, especially in eastern states, the weather office said on Friday.

The country will also probably receive average rainfall that month, the India Meteorological Department said in a statement.
