Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Holds Meetings with Syrian Foreign Minister and UNRWA Commissioner-General

Cairo – Saudi Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Waleed bin Abdulkarim El-Khereiji, engaged in significant diplomatic discussions as he met with Syrian Foreign Minister, Fayssal Mikdad, and UNRWA Commissioner-General, Philippe Lazzarini, on the sidelines of the third ministerial meeting of the Arab-Japanese Political Dialogue in Cairo on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the Saudi minister and his Syrian counterpart delved into the latest developments in Syria, exchanging views on various issues of mutual concern. The talks provided an opportunity to discuss regional dynamics and explore potential avenues for cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting also served as a platform for El-Khereiji to address Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts in supporting the Palestinian people.
