Three Killed in Attack on Crimea’s Simferopol, Russian-Appointed Governor Says
Simferopol- Three people were killed and seven others injured in an attack on the city of Simferopol in Russian-controlled Crimea, the Moscow-appointed governor of the peninsula said on Thursday.
Sergei Aksyonov said on Telegram that the strike targeted non-residential facilities in the Crimean capital. He did not specify the type of attack or provide further details on the targeted sites.
The reported attack comes amid continuing hostilities between Russia and Ukraine, with both sides carrying out long-range strikes on military, energy and infrastructure targets.
